Kelley is also an accomplished general counsel with extensive experience providing legal guidance to nonproift organizations and corporations.
Kelley's legal columns for educators are regulalry published and have been frequently recognized for representing excellence in publication.

NEWS: Kelley R. Taylor Receives Association Media and Publishing Award
May 9, 2011—Kelley R. Taylor, has been honored by Association Media & Publishing’s EXCEL Awards program which recognizes the best publishing products of the association industry. Considered a pinnacle of peer recognition and seal of excellence in association publishing, the program judges nearly 1,000 association publications, including magazines, newsletters, scholarly journals, electronic publications and websites in the areas such as editorial quality, design, and general excellence.
Kelley received a Bronze Award in the Magazine Column category for her legal column, “Cases in Point,” which appears regularly in the National Association of Secondary School Principal's Principal Leadership Magazine. Ms. Taylor’s award-winning piece entitled “Return to Play,” highlights fundamental medical and legal information regarding youth and student athlete concussions to enable school leaders to further educate school staff, students, and parents.
